Willy Wonka Jr. Camp (Ages 7-17)

Campers will utilize their acting, singing, and dancing skills to learn and perform a full 1-hour stage production of *Willy Wonka Jr.* on the last day of camp. This Musical Theatre Summer Camp is specifically designed for youth ages 7-17, allowing campers to learn an entire show in under a week. Campers will read and memorize a script (Junior scripts are typically 100 pages) and take notes, including writing stage directions, while learning vocals and choreography. Music and scripts can be picked up before audition day, provided the balance is paid in full. Choreography instruction will be given through auditory instruction and demonstration.

- Showtime: June 7th, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (1 hour)
- Camp dates: June 2nd - 6th, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Campers are required to bring a snack, a drink, and lunch every day. They should arrive by 8:50 AM and be prepared to start rehearsing at 9:00 AM.
A full refund (minus processing fees) can be issued if requested in writing before May 9th, 2025. After that date, refunds can only be issued if the spot can be filled before the first day of camp.

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. Follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.
Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. has a flexible cast size with many featured and ensemble roles, including the singing and dancing Oompa Loompas.
